The Warshield Mk. V is a Shield-Class Dreadnought

Blueprint will not work without Experimental Mode enabled and in Singleplayer.

The Warshield has an oxygen system, complete base functionality, a long-range jump drive system, a battle-repair welder and projector system, an economy system, an advanced decoy system, the ability to exit and re-enter planets with it's hydrogen thrusters, and the ability to safely land on planet surfaces when there is enough space. The standard hangar setup for the Warshield is 4 Fighers or Strike Fighters in its forward hangar bays, and 2 Scouts in its drone bay.
Survival ready, no mods or scripts are required.

Controls have been updated and are now working on Xbox.

October Revision
- Because of the introduction of the Warswift Corvette, the fleet has undergone a significant revision. The Warshield is now a Dreadnought instead of a Battlecruiser.

Highwind Warfleet Collection - Guide

The Warshield is armed with 20 missile turrets and 26 gatling turrets. The standard tactics of the Warshield is a topside barrage with all it's turrets by keeping the top of the ship facing the target. The Warshield is equipped with four hangars and is capable of carrying 2 fighters in each of its forward hangar bays.

Dreadnoughts are the mightiest ships in the Highwind Warfleet. They are often chosen as the flagship of a battle-group, and sometimes even the capitol ship for the faction itself. These ships will always be the spearhead of a massive assault, and will always be sent into a battle if the victory is paramount. They are most effective when escorted by lighter ships, as they will often have limited mobility. These ships are ultra-late game as they are the most expensive to make.

Weighing 16 million+ kg, the Warshield is twice the size of both the Warfalcon and the Wareagle, with double the armament and thrust power. The Warshield is often used as a flagship, and it's primary role is escorting valuable targets as well as serving as the spearhead of an attack. Despite it's size the Warshield is still considerably maneuverable in both space and atmosphere, as long as it has sufficient hydrogen fuel available. The Mk III Variant of the Warshield is a complete redesign of the vessel, both in and out. The thrust power and energy management has been improved in such a way that the vessel can retain complete mobility even without hydrogen power. The hangar capacity has also been dramatically improved, adding a new drone hangar and a garage below, for a total of 4 hangar bays.

The Mk. IV variant of the Warshield dramatically improves the ship's combat performance, doubling its missile turret armament, as well as adding a new welding battle-repair system that makes the ship nearly unbeatable. In addition, the Warshield now carries Shieldguards on it's wings, external armored decoys that draw enemy fire from the ship's hull, which also double as detachable warheads.

The Mk. V variant of the Warshield is a complete modernization of the interior, adding a much more livable environment to the ship. It's also a dramatic redesign of the welder systems, greatly improving the ship's battle performance in survival conditions. The ship also receives a modernized self-welding decoy system which improves it's battle endurance even further. Hydrogen fuel and thrust is recommended for the Warshield to operate in planetary environments, however it can operate on any planet without hydrogen if needed.

The Mk. VI Wartalon Strike Fighter can be carried by the Warshield, which can fit two of these strike fighters in it's side hangars.

The Mk. II Warclaw Fighter can be carried by the Warshield, which can fit two of these fighters in it's side hangars.

The Mk. IV Wargaze Scout can be carried by the Warshield, which can fit two of these scouts in it's drone hangar.

Zionus @zionus

I would love to know the steps you used to transfer a file from Steam to Mod IO. Nothing that I've tried has worked thus far... Very cool ship. Can't wait to see what you make next.

Will you be making a dreadnaught for the highwind fleet?

Pathagarus @pathagarus

Someday I hope to make one but it's gonna be quite a large project to complete.

RainySquash7703 @rainysquash7703

You are one of the most talented builders in this game I have ever seen! I do hope you make one, it would be so cool! But not if it’s too big a project for you of course.
